Craft

Throughout the year, we pick out significant dates and events on which we base our activities. So, for example, during National Pet Month we base our activities around animals. For Autism Awareness Week, we collectively develop ideas and projects so we can represent the subject through craft. We love to collect things from the park, recycling and upcycling to bring new dimensions to our craft activities.

The cover image for this activity is a piece that was inspired by the artist Andy Goldsworthy, and crafted from the fallen, painted bark of the eucalyptus tree we were fortunate enough to have growing outside our building.
